In this modern era, Singapore as tiny island often appears to have sold its Asian soul for a western lifestyle. However, if you spend some time to pause and have a closer look, Singapore’s traditional culture is well alive and well beneath in the society. This ethnic diversity not only makes Singapore a colorful country but at the same time, the cultural and meaningful traditions from each race are well-maintained.

Singapore main island is shaped like a diamond. It is merely about 42km from east to west and about 23km from north to south. When it comes to land area, it is shockingly tiny which is only 693 sq.km. However, with good planning and leadership from the Singapore government, it has developed from a small fishing village into a city in the gardens today.
